CACI stands for Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument. It was originally developed in the 1990s for treating facial palsy and muscle wastage — medical conditions where the muscles of the face had lost tone, strength or function. Clinicians discovered that the gentle microcurrent used to rehabilitate damaged muscles also had remarkable cosmetic benefits: lifting sagging skin, smoothing fine lines, and restoring definition to the jawline and cheekbones.
Over the past three decades, CACI has become the most widely researched and clinically proven non-surgical facial treatment in the world. The treatment works by sending tiny, sub-sensory electrical impulses into the facial muscles and skin. These impulses mirror the body's own bioelectrical field — the natural current your body uses to maintain muscle tone. One important thing

But the real transformation happens over a course of treatments. We recommend a minimum of 10 sessions, taken once or twice per week, followed by monthly maintenance. CACI Signature
The gold standard non-surgical facial.
This is our core CACI treatment and the one most clients begin with. The CACI Signature uses precise microcurrent impulses delivered through cotton-tipped probes to lift and tone every facial muscle, one by one. Your therapist works methodically across the face — lifting the brow, defining the cheekbones, firming the jawline, and smoothing the neck.
The treatment also includes a hydrating mask to nourish the skin while the microcurrent does its work beneath the surface. You will see an immediate difference after your first session — a visible lift, improved skin tone, and a fresher, more awake appearance.

The CACI Ultimate combines everything from the Signature treatment with the addition of the Wrinkle Comb — a specialist tool that delivers a concentrated microcurrent directly into deeper lines and wrinkles. This dual approach means you get the full-face lift and tone of the Signature, plus targeted wrinkle reduction on problem areas like crow's feet, forehead lines, the nasolabial folds, and lip lines.
The treatment also includes an LED light therapy mask, which uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and accelerate skin healing. This is our most popular treatment for clients who want to address multiple signs of ageing in a single session.

Using quad-probe technology, your therapist works on the muscles responsible for holding the jawline in place, lifting and tightening the tissue that tends to sag with age and create the appearance of jowls.
This is a popular add-on to the Signature or Ultimate, or as a standalone treatment for clients whose primary concern is a softening jawline. The quad probes deliver a stronger, more focused current than the standard probes, making this particularly effective for areas where muscle tone has been lost over time.

The CACI Hydrotone combines microcurrent muscle toning with a deeply hydrating gel mask that delivers active ingredients into the skin using electrical stimulation. While the microcurrent works on lifting and firming the facial muscles, the hydrating mask floods the skin with moisture, hyaluronic acid and nourishing actives.
This is an ideal treatment for clients who want the benefits of CACI muscle toning alongside intensive skin hydration. It is particularly effective during winter months when skin tends to be drier, or for anyone with chronically dehydrated skin. The result is a plumper, more radiant complexion with visibly improved tone and texture.

The CACI Wrinkle Revolution uses the CACI Wrinkle Comb — a specialist applicator that emits a concentrated microcurrent waveform combined with LED light therapy. This dual-action technology is designed specifically for deeper expression lines: the furrows and creases that form from years of facial movement and that do not respond to surface-level treatments.
The Wrinkle Comb plumps and hydrates the skin from within by driving amino acid and collagen-stimulating signals directly into the wrinkle. The LED light component accelerates cell renewal and collagen synthesis. The result is visibly softer, shallower wrinkles and a smoother skin surface. This treatment can be taken as a standalone or as an add-on to any CACI facial.

CACI Light Therapy LED
Heal. Calm. Regenerate.
CACI Light Therapy uses a medical-grade LED mask that delivers three specific wavelengths of light to the skin: red, blue and near-infrared. Each wavelength penetrates to a different depth and triggers a different biological response. Red light stimulates collagen production and increases circulation. Blue light kills acne-causing bacteria and calms inflammation. Near-infrared light penetrates the deepest, promoting cellular repair and reducing pain.
This is one of the most versatile treatments we offer. It can be used to treat acne, rosacea, sun damage, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and general skin ageing. Unlike traditional crystal microdermabrasion, the CACI system uses a smooth, orbital wand that is gentler on the skin while still delivering professional-grade exfoliation.
The treatment effectively smooths rough texture, reduces the appearance of acne scars, minimises enlarged pores, and evens out skin tone. It also enhances the penetration of active skincare ingredients, making it an excellent preparation treatment before a CACI facial or as a standalone skin-smoothing session. What to expect.
Your first CACI appointment begins with a thorough skin consultation. Your therapist will examine your skin, discuss your concerns and goals, review your medical history, and explain exactly how the treatment works. This is your chance to ask any questions and to make sure CACI is the right treatment for you.
If we are both happy to proceed, we will begin your first CACI session straight away. You will lie comfortably on a treatment bed while your therapist cleanses your skin and applies a conductive gel. The microcurrent is delivered using small cotton-tipped probes that are placed on precise points across your face, following the direction of each muscle. The sensation is a gentle tingling — most clients find it relaxing and many fall asleep.
A full Signature treatment takes around 75 minutes. Afterwards, your therapist will apply a hydrating serum and SPF. You will be able to see an immediate lift and glow in the mirror. There is no redness, no downtime and no recovery period. You can apply makeup and go straight back to your day.

Questions we get asked a lot.
Does CACI hurt?
No. Most clients describe the sensation as a gentle tingling or light prickling. The microcurrent is sub-sensory — meaning it works below the level of discomfort. Occasionally you may feel a slight fizzing around areas where muscles are tighter or more fatigued, but it should never be painful. If it is, we adjust the settings immediately. Many clients find the treatment so relaxing they fall asleep.
How many treatments will I need?
For best results, we recommend an initial course of 10 to 12 treatments taken close together — ideally twice per week, or at minimum once per week. This allows the microcurrent to build cumulative muscle tone and collagen stimulation. After the initial course, most clients move to monthly maintenance sessions to preserve their results. Think of it like going to the gym: one session feels good, but a course transforms your face.
How long do results last?
After a single treatment, you can expect results to last 48 to 72 hours as the muscles gradually return to their resting state. After a full course of 10 to 12 treatments, the cumulative lifting and toning effects are much longer-lasting — typically several months with monthly maintenance. Without maintenance, results will gradually diminish over 3 to 6 months, though they do not reverse overnight. Your skin will still be in better condition than before you started.
Is CACI suitable for my age or skin type?
CACI is suitable for most adults. We treat clients in their late twenties through to their seventies and beyond. Younger clients tend to use it preventatively — maintaining muscle tone and skin health before visible ageing begins. More mature clients often see the most dramatic results, particularly in jawline definition and cheek lift. CACI works on all skin types and tones. During your consultation, we will assess your skin and discuss any specific concerns to ensure the treatment is right for you.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are extremely rare. Some clients notice a slight redness immediately after treatment, similar to a mild flush, which settles within 30 minutes. Because CACI is non-invasive and uses a current that mirrors your body's own bioelectrical field, it is one of the safest professional facial treatments available. There is no downtime, no peeling, no bruising, and no recovery period. You can apply makeup and return to your day immediately.
Who should not have CACI?
CACI is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker or heart condition, epilepsy, active cancer, metal pins or plates in the face, or during pregnancy. If you have any medical conditions or are unsure, please let us know during your consultation and we will advise you. Safety is always our first priority.
Can I combine CACI with other treatments?
Yes, absolutely. Many of our clients combine CACI with Dermalogica facials, LED light therapy, or microdermabrasion for enhanced results. In fact, several of our CACI treatments — like the CACI Ultimate and CACI Hydrotone — already combine microcurrent with additional technologies. We can build a treatment plan that addresses all of your skin concerns. Just speak to your therapist about what you would like to achieve.
How does CACI compare to Botox or fillers?
CACI and injectables work in completely different ways. Botox paralyses muscles to reduce movement and smooth lines. Fillers add volume beneath the skin. CACI, by contrast, works with your body — re-educating and toning facial muscles, stimulating your own collagen production, and improving circulation. The result is a natural, lifted appearance without frozen expressions, without chemicals, and without needles. Many clients choose CACI specifically because they want to look like the best version of themselves, not a different person. Others use CACI alongside conservative injectables to extend the life of their results.
